Local Bletchley Vets Receives Over £630k of Investment
Vets for Pets Bletchley Set to Relaunch into a New Spacious Facility Following Over £630,000 Investment.
Exciting news for Bletchley’s pet-loving community! Pets at Home is delighted to reopen its doors following a major investment into their Bletchley Vets for Pets practice and Pet Care Centre.
The grand re-opening happened on Friday 29th November and featured a range of exciting events and promotions.
A portion of the £630k investment, has extended the practice from 1493 sq ft to 2125 sq ft, space which will now house two additional consultation rooms, a state-of-the-art imaging suite and a fully upgraded operating theatre.
This extension has the aim of increasing booking availability and keeping the same standard of expert care the pet owners of Bletchley have come to expect. With the patients at the heart of the entire redesign process, Bletchley Vets for Pets will be able to support across all stages of life and from routine to complex cases.
Alongside the revamped veterinary practice, customers can also expect a fully refurbished Pets Grooming salon. With brand new baths, tables and tools, the expert groomers will be able to pamper all breeds, keeping them stylish from nose to tail.
The Pet Care Centre has also been updated to cater to the growing demand for fresh and raw diets for dogs and cats. With the addition of new freezers, pet owners will find an extensive range of fresh food options to suit a variety of dietary needs.
Dr Amy Converse and Dr Huw Morgan-Jones, Veterinary Surgeons and Joint Practice Owners, commented:
“We’re thrilled to reopen our doors and showcase our extended Vets for Pets practice to Bletchley. Our practice will offer pet owners access to a full range of veterinary services, all while ensuring a welcoming, community-focused environment. We’re especially excited to continue sharing our experience, ensuring that we meet the needs of local pets in every way possible.”
Dr Morgan-Jones’ extensive experience includes being an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery. And among his many memorable cases, he once identified a rare Genet, an African cat-like exotic pet found in a warehouse in Milton Keynes, and reunited it with its owner after a viral post helped track them down.
This latest investment spotlights Pets at Home’s ongoing commitment to improving customer journeys inside their Pet Care Centres. With each tailored to best suit the local community, Pets remains steadfast in ensuring that all our furry friends receive the highest level of care they deserve.
